Just as they did in March, readers of the conservative blog Hot Air have collectively voted for Sarah Palin as their top choice for the GOP nomination for president. The former Alaskan governor and 2008 GOP vice-president candidate finished miles ahead with 33% of the vote. Finishing in second place with 11% was stimulus-supporting, Fed-apologist, anti-Muslim talk-radio host Hermain Cain, who narrowly edged out Multiple Choice Mitt Romney, author of ObamaCare Beta, who also finished with 11%. Tim Pawlenty followed closely with 9%.
Needless to say, this does not bode well for people who actually believe in freedom and limited government. The only heartening results true believers in liberty can take from this poll are Mike Huckabee finishing with a tepid 2% and Rand Paul snatching 7% (his father was not on the ballot). My vote went to Gary Johnson, who was hardly a blip on the radar with 1% (42 votes out of almost 7,000).
